Reason for Application: Since my childhood I was interested in academics; careful attention and listening of every classes followed by immediate reading of the course notes after class aided by reference books were my every day activities. This helped me to successfully complete my primary and secondary school education with honors at the end of every academic year. I attended my undergraduate study at Jimma University and graduated with BSc. degree in horticulture with great distinction with cumulative GPA of 3.63 which helped me to join research institutes. After graduation, I was employed as junior researcher in Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research, Melkassa Agricultural Research Center under national warm season vegetable crops research program. After two years of services at the center, till 2017. I joined Hawassa University to pursue my graduate study and completed my MSc in Agronomy with honor and GPA of 3.52. I have worked my MSc thesis on green bean on fertilizer and irrigation regimes. After the study, I have been working as researcher (agronomist) on vegetable crops research program. I have also serving a coordinator of the national warm season vegetable crops research program from 2021-till now and coordinating external projects such as tomato technical cooperation project (TCP) funded by Korean Project on International Agriculture (KOPIA) from 2021-till now and objective leader of SNV-Horti-LIFE project from 2020 to 2021.
